A typical day at the nursery

This morning, with dad, we just arrived at the nursery, it was almost 10 a.m.
And yes, fortunately we can arrive until ten o'clock. Because with my teeth popping up, I confess that I’m not letting mom and dad sleep a lot.
When we get there, Sandra, one of the nursery teachers, welcomes me with open arms and a broad smile. She asks daddy how I spent the night and if I ate well this morning. As they chat, I put on my slippers and go meet my friends.
When they’re done chatting and dad decides to go away, I wave goodbye to him and immediately start playing again...
We start our day dancing with my friends and nursery teachers. At the nursery, we love to dance...
After that, Sandra will do some gym with the babies. Souad, on her side, reads stories to me friends. We, older ones, are at the activity table painting.
Having all worked well and especially played well at the end, we go to the small toilets and change the diapers for the younger ones.
Well settled down afterwards for lunch, we eat, then go to wash our clothes and go to bed, because this busy morning has got the best of us.
In our rooms at the nursery, each one has his own small bed with it’s little blanket and pacifier there.
To help us fall asleep, a small musical nightlight rocks us under the protective presence of our nursery teachers.
Once the nap is over, everyone is wide-awake, we head to the toilet and the changing rooms, then go to eat our little snack.
After snack time, we go to the toilet again. Hardly finished, the bell rings for the first time.
There we are, the time for moms and dads has arrived.
The ones who stay a little longer have the time to play. And when it's not raining, we can even run in the garden.
Minutes later, mom and dad are there, picking me up. I barely saw the time go by.
One of my teachers tells my parents about my day and everything I did. It’s over for today. Tomorrow I’ll be back again for a great day with my friends.
